Dallas Augustine was always at odds with her mom, political superstar, Kathy Augustine.

A major point of contention between mother and daughter was Dallas’s sexual orientation and the accompanying string of disastrous relationships.

Though Kathy and Dallas manage to mend their troubled relationship, Kathy is tragically murdered by her husband.

Six years after her mother’s murder, Dallas and her wife, Jessie McCaskill are in the midst of their own troubled relationship and in one horrific moment, Dallas makes a desperate – and deadly – decision that will leave their family and friends devastated.
