In a toast on his wedding day, June 5, 1999, Greg DeVillers told the room filled with friends and family that his new wife, Kristin, was “the most wonderful person I’ve ever met,” and that he couldn’t wait to spend the rest of his life with her. On November 6, 2000, a year and a half after that heartfelt declaration, Greg deVillers would be dead. Kristin claimed it was suicide. The state of California said it was murder.

Anyone looking at the smiling portraits of Allison and Gerard Baden-Clay and their three adorable daughters, would think they were the perfect, happy family.  Except, what the pictures didn’t show was a sinister and toxic marriage marked by infidelity, extreme cruelty, and finally, murder.
