Kathy Augustine was a star on the Nevada political scene who could easily navigate the cutthroat world of politics but couldn’t pick a good husband. That is until her third husband, Charles, who she manages to stay married to for sixteen years.
And when Charles dies of a stroke, Kathy finds herself charmed by his critical care nurse Chaz Higgs, who dries the widow’s tears – so much so, Chaz and Kathy get married exactly three weeks after her husband’s death.
And just three years after that whirlwind wedding, Kathy would be dead.
